Notes

Cook Tips

For the best texture, cook the pasta al dente. This stops it from becoming mushy when mixed with the creamy sauce. Also, adding a splash of pasta cooking water to the sauce helps it stick to the noodles better.

Storage and Reheating

Leftover chicken alfredo can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, add a bit of milk or cream to the sauce. This keeps it creamy. Warm the dish gently on the stovetop or in the microwave, stirring often, until it’s hot.

Troubleshooting

If your alfredo sauce is too thick, whisk in some pasta cooking water to thin it. If it’s too thin, simmer it for a few minutes to thicken. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper to get the flavor just right.
